Ashlee has been dancing for over 26 years and was on competition lines at Woodbury dance Center for a large part of that time. Ashlee started teaching at the age of 19, shortly after she graduated. She teaches all of the intermediate competition lines as well as some recreational classes. She has been recognized and won choreography awards for her dances “Fever” and “Flip Flap”. The hard work and determination between Ashlee and her dancers has helped them win many regional and national awards. From a young age, Ashlee knew dance would always be a huge part of her life. As an instructor, she is able to share her love of dance with kids of many ages and is able to watch them improve year after year. Ashlee puts forth her own energy and enthusiasm for dance to inspire her dancers to do the same. She believes in having fun while learning and strives to make her classes an enjoyable experience for all. Ashlee looks forward to many more years of teaching at WDC, growing as an instructor as well as a person.
