Mahri Mendoza

At five years old, Mahriana started dancing at Woodbury Dance Center and ever since then her passion for dance has only ever increased! Beginning in recreational classes and then transitioning to being on the competitive lines through senior year, WDC became a second home due to the wonderful friendships made and the overall comfort from being at the studio. She competed in jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, and pointe in a variety of different productions, large groups, small groups, solos, as well as a duet! Growing up, dance was such a major part of her life. Looking back, she wouldn’t have changed her experience one bit! Mahriana went on to receive a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Minnesota as well as an Associate’s degree as a Health Information Technician from Rasmussen. For a couple of years, she had the opportunity to provide counseling services to adolescents and is currently working from home as a medical coder for the University of Minnesota Physicians.

Everyone wants to live their best life and by adding dance into it, you’re pretty much there! Mahriana’s excited to meet new dancers and help their love of dance flourish, each step of the way!
