Registration begins May 7th for CURRENT STUDENTS.

New students may register beginning June 10th.

Submitting a Registration

Registrations must be submitted online. Log into or create your account.  Registrations will show as “pending” until our staff processes the online registration and payment.

  • CURRENT STUDENTS registering in May, see important information HERE.
  • Payments – WDC will process payment for the registration fee ($20 for a single student; maximum of $35 per family for multiple students) and September tuition (see class schedule for tuition rates).  Payment for registration and September tuition must be received in order for registration to be complete.  
  • Refunds – There is no refund on registration fees. If cancellation is made by August 15th, September tuition will be refunded. However, September tuition will not be refunded beginning August 16th. 
  • Payment requirements – All accounts are required to have a current credit card on file.  Monthly tuition and costume payments will be processed automatically. 
Payment Requirements

All accounts are required to have a credit card on file and must be signed up for automatic monthly payments for tuition. You do have the option to pay at the front desk with cash, check or a different card before automatic payments are processed on the 3rd of each month.

Payments will be processed with registrations and will include first month tuition and annual registration fee ($20 for a single student; $35 per family for multiple students). There are no refunds on registration fees.

Wait Lists

Classes that are FULL will be noted on the schedule below. If you would like to be added to the wait list for a full class, please contact the studio.

Band App

Our recreational classes will have a class app using “Band”. Online videos will be posted here to help with at home practice of recital routines. We will use this app to communicate with dancers and parents regarding class material.  Look for more information later this season to join BAND.

Tots - Age 2

A 1/2 hour Introduction to Dance/Creative Movement class is for our 2 year old dancers! We will enjoy fun songs to begin developing coordination, balance, and physical strength. Dancers in this class will enjoy engaging music and dance activities with props! (Perform 1 dance in Tots Showcase – 1 costume)

Preschool - Ages 3-5

Combo classes include basic tap, introduction to ballet and creative movement.  We strive to help this age group learn basic dance skills while having fun.  While the physical skills of coordination, balance and rhythm are mastered, you will also see your dancer grow in their self confidence, listening and  social skills. (Perform 2 dances in recital – 1 costume)

Kindergarten/1st Grade

Combo – 55 minute combination class for Kindergarten & 1st Grade dancers.  Tap and ballet as well as intro to jazz.  Ballet only class also offered. Dance helps children develop listening skills, self confidence and discipline, which will carry over to other areas of their lives.  These are all beneficial skills as they start grade school. No matter your dancers level, our attentive faculty will help your child learn dance as well as life skills to help them succeed. (Ballet class performs 1 dance in recital – 1 costume/Combo class performs 2 dances in recital – 1 costume)

1st-3rd Grade (Levels Noted)

Tap/Jazz: A 55 minute combination class.  Tap and jazz technique will be taught with use of kid-friendly music and activities to make learning fun! Dancers will enjoy learning short routines and combinations of their favorite dance steps!  These classes are leveled based on prior dance experience.  (Perform 2 dances in recital – 1 costume). Shoes Needed – Pink Ballet and Tan Tap (Boys will need Black Ballet & Black Tap). Tuition $70/month Costume $90

Ballet/Lyrical: A 40 minute class.  Ballet basics and Lyrical technique will be taught with focus on helping the dancers express themselves through movement.  Class will include warm up/stretch and across the floor exercises to work on body placement and proper technique. Tap/Jazz: A 60 minute long tap and jazz class.  Dancers will learn tap technique taught through center exercises and traveling progressions. Jazz fundamentals will be taught to upbeat music with focus on stretching, basic technique and fun, energetic movement! (Perform 2 dances in recital – 1 costume). Shoes Needed – Tan Jazz and Tan Tap. Tuition $70/month  Costume $90

Lyrical: A 40 minute class.  Lyrical will be taught with focus on helping the dancers express themselves through movement.  Class will include warm up/stretch and across the floor exercises to work on body placement and proper technique. (Perform 1 dance in 1 recital – 1 costume). Shoes Needed – Tan Jazz shoes. Tuition  $62/month  Costume $90

Tap/Jazz: A 60 minute jazz and tap combination class.  Dancers will learn tap technique through center exercises and traveling progressions. Focus will be on proper technique and increased speed and clarity of tap sounds.  Jazz technique will be taught including warm up/stretch and across the floor exercises.  Dancers will focus on style and performance while learning jazz technique with correct body placement.  These classes are leveled based on prior dance experience. Shoes Needed – Tan Jazz and Black Tap.  (Perform 2 dances in recital – 2 costumes). Tuition $70/month Costumes $180 total

Lyrical: A 40 minute class.  Lyrical will be taught with focus on helping the dancers express themselves through movement.  Class will include warm up/stretch and across the floor exercises to work on body placement and proper technique. Shoes Needed – Pirouettes. (Perform 1 dance in 1 recital – 1 costume). Tuition  $62/month  Costume $90

Jazz: A 45 minute jazz class.  Dancers will learn jazz technique through center exercises and traveling progressions. Focus will be on proper technique as well as style and performance.  Shoes Needed – Tan Jazz.  (Perform 1 dance in recital – 1 costume). Tuition $62/month Costumes $90

We offer boys only classes for age 4 & up!  Boys classes are geared towards learning while having fun!

Boys ages 4-8 will enjoy a 40-45 minute class offering both tap and hip hop (will perform 2 dances in recital).  Tuition $62/month

Boys ages 8-12 will enjoy a 30 minute class offering tap only (will perform 1 dance in recital) Tuition $48/month

Boys ages 8-12 will enjoy a 40 class offering only hip hop (will perform 1 dance in 1 recital) Tuition $62/month

Adult Tap 45 minute class focusing on tap basics and combinations.  Appropriate for advanced beginner and intermediate level tappers.

Adult Jazz  45 minute class focusing on technique and style through center exercises, traveling progressions and combinations.

Tuition: $48/month for one class per week, $75/month for two classes per week

Family Discounts:
2nd student from same family — $5 off per month
3rd student from same family — $10 off per month
4th, 5th, 6th student from same family — $20 off per month

Payment Requirements

Costume policies: Costume payments are non-refundable after December 1st.

Performances

All classes perform in one Recital/Showcase at the end of the season (late May or early June). While we do our best to schedule siblings in the same recital it is not always possible.  Siblings that take class on the same day of the week are not guaranteed to be in the same recital.

Instructors

Most classes, based on age and class size, have an instructor along with an assistant to better support the needs of our dancers.  Find more information about our instructors HERE.

Shoe Requirements

The shoe requirements are for dancers in our full school year program that will be participating in our spring recital can be found HERE. All shoes and dancewear are available at Woodbury Dance Center in our dance boutique.
