Olivia Lind
Olivia danced at Woodbury Dance Center for 15 years, six years in the recreational program, and nine years competitively. She has competed in tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, open, and pom. While she was dancing at WDC, she was a teacher’s assistant for seven years, which started her love to work with children. During her time at WDC, her team won two consecutive National Championships, in her Junior and Senior years of high school. While in high school, she danced for the Stillwater Area High School Dance Team for five years and was captain for three years. Being a captain of a dance team was one of the many things that helped ignite her love for being a role model for others.
After high school, Olivia attended UW-River Falls and was a part of the dance team. She is now at Century College studying to become a Dental Assistant/Hygienist. Olivia is excited to be back at Woodbury Dance Center assisting and teaching recreational classes and WDC Pom Teams. Olivia’s goal is to help her students learn to grow as dancers, while also teaching them life skills to be able to grow at the individual level.
