Andrea Stalewski

When she was two, while dancing in the bathtub, Andrea cut her chin so badly she needed stitches. Despite this tragic start, she fell in love with dance. She received her training at Woodbury Dance Center for 13 years and was on the Company competition lines. She won numerous awards and scholarships with each group as well as dancing solo. Her solo took 1st place and won the title of Miss Showbiz at the 2008 National Competition in Chicago. Andrea also received her training and high school education at the St. Paul Conservatory for Performing Artists. She graduated in 2009 and was the first graduating class to go through all 4 years of the high school. Attending this school was one of the greatest experiences of her life. She studied and worked with many locally known diverse teachers and choreographers. From Indian and African dance to modern and ballet, the school provided her with a wide variety of dance. She also took many acting and musical theatre classes. Andrea was one of the assistant coaches for the Woodbury High School Dance Team for Fall 2010 and choreographed select routines performed at Friday night football games. In 2021, Andrea became a Pilates instructor. She received her teacher training through Polestar Pilates. Andrea loves working with dancers of all ages and in every style of dance. She is a very positive, fun and energetic teacher and always makes the ordinary, extraordinary!
